Terminal 3 and 4 curbside service runs 24/7. The app may route you to the terminal curb or to a Sky Train station instead — and for a station pickup Waymo’s instruction is to request the ride AFTER boarding the train, not after arriving at the station, so the car meets you rather than waiting. Permission is not the same as convenience

The question people search is “does Waymo serve SFO”. The answer that helps them is where it collects from — and at SFO that is the Rental Car Center, roughly a fifteen-minute AirTrain ride from the terminal you have just walked out of. Both facts are true. Only one of them changes what you do when you land.

Of the 13 airports tracked here, 4 have a published operator instruction. The rest are listed anyway, because knowing an operator runs across a whole metro but is not at its airport is exactly the sort of thing that ruins an arrival plan.

Every entry cites its source and the date it was read. Nothing here is inferred from a service-area map, and no route or coverage boundary is drawn, because no authoritative boundary data exists to draw one from.

Why does “serves the airport” need a whole tool?: Because it is routinely the wrong answer to the question people are actually asking. An operator can be permitted at an airport and still collect you from a rental car centre reached by a fifteen-minute train ride, which is a very different proposition at midnight with luggage. The pickup point is the fact that matters, so it is the headline here rather than a footnote.
What does “not listed” mean — is it banned?: No. It means the airport does not appear in that operator’s own published airport instructions. It might be a permitting delay, a commercial decision, or simply an omission. It is not proof of a prohibition, but it is a strong reason not to plan a trip around it.
